What’s Happening at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church

Energize My Soul group meets twice a month on Wednesday nights for supper, fellowship and study.  The first meeting will be January 23 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM.  The topic for study will be “Jews, Christians, and Muslims – What do our neighbors believe?”  Please contact the office so enough food will be available.

Chapter Two group will begin meeting on Monday, January 28 at 2:00 PM.  They will be looking at “Parables, Stories Jesus Told.”  Contact Rev. Phillips for questions and more information.

This Summer from June 2 through August 25, we will have only one Worship Service at 10:00 AM.  Sunday School will begin at 9:00 AM.  Put this new schedule on your calendar for the summer.

The Nominating Committee is beginning its work this week.  If you have recommendations for Elder or Deacon, please call the church office by Monday.

Soda Tab Collection for the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte is being supported by the Middle School Youth.  Their goal is to collect 1,000,000 soda tabs.  Drop them off at the church office by May 26.  Contact Katie Keels with your questions. 

The next packing event for Stop Hunger Now is on Saturday morning, May 11, 2013.  We are raising our goal to 15,000 meals for this project.  That afternoon we will work at Jackson Park Ministry.  Plan now to attend.
