Stop Hunger Now! On March 16, 2014, Steele Creek Presbyterian Church will pack 15,000 meals as an ongoing part of our Mission Ministry. Yes, this is a Sunday! The schedule for the morning will be altered, early service at 8:45; Sunday School Classes meet to take roll at 9:45, and worship service at approximately 10:00 am in the Family Life Center, including the packaging itself. Remember, we will get in- structions and guidance before we start packing.
Stop Hunger Now volunteers package high protein, dehydrated meals for use in crisis areas and in school feeding programs. Ingredients are rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, and vitamins. Each package can make a meal for six people.
On March 16 our sermon will be our hands and feet, as we do a standing job, a sitting job, or a walking around job. Our time frame should be about one and one-half hours. Dress is casual/seasonal. Talking is encouraged, and as some have said, the music will be the sound of conversations and the sound of the ingredients passing through the funnels, in addition to some favorite songs.
Light refreshments will be available for those who want to have a snack during a break from working.

The South Point Chamber Choir is the elite performing ensemble at South Point High School, which has won many honors and awards.
