Upcoming Events

Membership Exploration Class

Visitors are invited to attend a Membership Exploration Class hosted by Rev. Pinkston on Sunday, May 7th at 9:30 AM.  You will have the opportunity to learn more about our church, ask questions, and dialog with the Pastor.  We will meet in the Parlor at the end of the hall at the Office entrance.  Child care will be available.

Read to Achieve Project

Steele Creek is partnering with our sister Presbyterian Churches in the Steele Creek area to help third graders in the 7 area elementary schools who are in danger of failing their grade.  We will gather at Mt. Olive Presbyterian Church on May 6th at 10:00 AM to pack book bags with books and other school supplies to distribute to those students who did not pass their End of Grade tests.  The materials will be purchased by the leadership committee, but we need your presence to help pack the bags and financial donations to this project.  Make your financial support to the "Read to Achieve" project.  There will be a meal of hot dogs and fixings at the conclusion of the packing event.  We will not be having a spring Stop Hunger Now event, so plan to attend this project to help others in our community.  Contact Lorie Lewis or Roberta Harris for more information.

Youth Sunday and Senior Recognition

On Sunday, May 21st we will be recognizing all those members graduating from High School or College.  If you have a family member in this category, please contact Lorie Lewis so they may be included.  This is always a memorable event as we celebrate their hard work to achieve this important life experience.
